It was awesome…

It was awesome; far more meaningful, thought-provoking, and intimate for me, then a Promise Keepers event I had attended. Not that comparisons are needed. I told my wife I was unsure why God wanted me there prior to going, other then I felt moved to do so in church, and remembered Doug Baker being moved so much by last year’s event.

The speakers were awesome. However the one that just blew my mind away was the gentleman from Mt, Pleasant. Each statement was so profound. I wanted to back up the tape and contemplate what God had just said through him. I found his wisdom and vision to be similar to some of C.S. Lewis statements.

I could relate to what you said about being a Christian man, but wanting more of what Dave Turner and others have; that peace and serenity place being constant, not just some of the time.

I did pray over a young man who was hurting deeply over past actions. I thought we would see each other at church but thus far we have not.

Thanks again for an absolutely awesome time.
